Armundia launches the innovative platform for Funds Management

New vertical module: FundWatch manages Alternative Investment Funds end-to-end for depositary banks, from master data to regulatory controls and automated reconciliations.

London/Luxembourg, 10 December 2025. Armundia Group ha released 3SIXTY FUNDS, a modular platform designed to cover the entire fund management value chain. The new platform addresses the increasing operational and regulatory complexity faced by financial institutions in fund management, offering vertical modules for depositaries, transfer agents, fund administrators, AIFMs and investment managers.

At the core of the offering is Armundia FundWatch, a vertical module developed by Armundia Luxembourg for depositary banks. FundWatch is an integrated end-to-end solution for Alternative Investment Funds that centralises in a single platform what depositaries currently manage across fragmented systems: master data, transactions, regulatory controls and document management. The platform enables real-time dashboards, automates multi-source controls and reduces manual activities that burden operational teams.

A modular response to value chain complexity

"Fund management involves a complex value chain where depositaries, transfer agents, fund administrators and investment managers must coordinate operations, data and controls in an increasingly integrated manner", comments Gianluca Berghella, CEO of Armundia Group and Armundia United Kingdom. "Each player has specific responsibilities, but all share the need for data quality, traceability and regulatory compliance. Our response is a platform that offers vertical modules for each role whilst guaranteeing consistency and interoperability across the entire value chain".

From fragmented systems to integrated platform

Depositary banks today manage a complex combination of constraints: continuously evolving regulations spanning UCITS, AIFMD, SFDR and Taxonomy, growing reconciliation volumes, inconsistent data quality and fund structures requiring more articulated controls.

Armundia FundWatch covers the entire operational process for Alternative Funds with complete support for all asset classes: private equity, real estate, funds, debt, OTC derivatives. The platform manages master data, transaction traceability, automated regulatory controls and centralised documentation. Dedicated dashboards guide control teams through exceptions with structured workflows.

The module's key differentiator lies in its data integration. While depositaries currently rely on separate systems for master data, transactions and documents, FundWatch consolidates everything in a single environment. A distinctive feature is the document-suggestion engine, which indicates in real time which documents are required at each workflow stage, eliminating errors caused by missing or incomplete documentation.

Documented results from direct experience

"FundWatch stems from direct experience with depositary banks managing Alternative Investment Funds", states Paolo Maceratesi, CEO of Armundia Luxembourg. "The requirements were clear: fewer low-value manual activities, improved data quality, demonstrable controls for supervisory authorities. The platform responds by automating what is currently manual, integrating what is currently fragmented, and making traceable what is currently opaque. The result: streamlined processes, reduced operational risk and measurable cost containment".

Armundia presents documented data. A Luxembourg depositary bank measured results after two months: 40% reduction in onboarding time, 65% reduction in email usage for operational activities, 50% reduction in document archiving and retrieval time. On controls: 90% reduction in manual errors, 50% improvement in audit effectiveness through real-time audit trails.

The platform automatically generates dynamic reports for compliance (checklists, organisation charts, bank confirmations) and adapts immediately to new regulations. Overall impact: 50% reduction in operational time and effort.

Modular architecture for gradual evolution

The 3SIXTY FUNDS platform is based on a modular and interoperable architecture that enables institutions to activate specific functionalities based on their operational priorities. Each module can operate stand-alone or integrate with legacy systems, core banking and external data providers, adapting to evolving volumes and requirements.

The suite is available both on-premise and in cloud and adapts to standard or custom banking ecosystems, supporting business evolution in a gradual and controlled manner.

The solution will be distributed in Europe by Armundia Luxembourg and on the global market by Armundia United Kingdom, guaranteeing direct presence and specialised support in major international financial hubs.
